Mehler Law is a boutique litigation practice that, for more than two decades, has specialized in federal criminal and civil cases, both domestic and international. The quality of its experience and the excellence of its advocacy parallels that of larger firms, but is delivered with greater efficiency, lower cost and, above all, highly personalized care and dedication. U.S. News and World Report lists Mehler Law among the top-level (Tier 1) New York City law firms in white-collar criminal work.
Gordon Mehler founded the firm in 2000 after serving for more than 10 years as a federal prosecutor, including his tenure as chief of public corruption prosecutions. He has more than 30 years of varied legal experience, including over 20 years as a defense attorney. He is also the author (with others) of a widely-used treatise on federal criminal practice, now in its 21st edition, that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg called “tremendously valuable” in her foreword to the book.
Our goal is simple: to apply our expertise to successfully resolve our clients’ most challenging and pressing legal problems.
